Happy Halloween!!

Halloween came and went with a bang! Heather decided to use her craft room and make Kenyon a costume! She did such a good job. Michelle and her family came down the week of Halloween and Kenyon got to spend some time with the cousins! On Friday 10/30/09, the Mesa Ward (our ward) had their annual Halloween party. Kenyon got into his costume and went to get some candy! He had a good time with all the kids! Heather and I had the joy of doing games as the Young Women were in charge of activities for the party. Heather did a pumpkin decorating contest and I did a ping pong ball toss. We then went home and fell asleep!

Saturday, Heather and I went to the Denver Temple. Lori was kind enough to spend the day with Kenyon while we went. The temple was so great. Heather and I have made the goal of attending every month. What blessing we have seen as we fulfill that goal. On our way back, we stopped in Castle Rock to find Kenyon some shoes (Heather too!). We picked Kenyon up from Lori’s and headed over to their ward and mom and dad’s ward for their annual Halloween party. It was packed! So many people were dressed up and we decided to dress Kenyon up too, only to find out that we left half of his costume! It was fun and we headed back home to do some of our family trick or treating. Kenyon absolutely loved it! Every time he would get candy, he would say “thank you!” We stopped by the Sister Missionary’s house and talked with them and saw their funny decorations. He then spent some time with Heather’s family and came home to watch a scary movie. Movie was lame and Heather and Megan both fell asleep before the credits because!! What an exhausting weekend!
